I realised yesterday that 7th February was the anniversary of my first blog entry. The past two years have flown by and yet at the same time it seems light years since we had a life without the dreaded M.
So Happy Anniversary Blog. Thank you for all the support you have given over the last couple of years, without you I would have gone completely crazy, well crazier than I already am.
While I'm here I might as well give you all the answers to What's That ?!?
This is the hairs on the style of a snap dragon, which until the weekend's snow, was bravely still flowering. If you look carefully you can actually see a grain of pollen on one of the hairs.
This is the gills on a chestnut mushroom that I had lurking in my fridge.
Well I'm tired now. Life is not easy at the moment, but it isn't something I want to share. I'll be back when the Spring comes with photos of my garden. Take care everyone.

This microscope has brought this game to a whole new level. I was going to comment but could not guess anything that made sense. I hope we don't have to wait until spring to hear from you! :o( I understand what you say about the time that has passed. In a few weeks, it will be 5 years since Tim's diagnosis. The time has flown by but I also can hardly remember what life was like before cancer came barging in. I hope that whatever is making your life difficult, eases up for you. It's a constant struggle to live in the moment for me, and for you as well, I'm sure. Hugs from across the pond.
ReplyDeleteTwo years WOW it really doesn't seem that long and yet seems agessssssssssssssss. We are so fortunate to have you both! See I can be sincerely nice sometimes! xx
ReplyDeleteLorna, there are times when Life seems too much of a trial to be a court reporter on it... just know I´m thinking about you and hoping Spring comes soon so we don´t have to go too long without your special humor!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteMissing you Lorna, and Mike. Hope you're both doing splendid. xo
ReplyDeleteThere is one reason why MM has had a great big silver lining to it's cloud.....The brilliant, wonderful, wonderful, friendships that we have made. Thank you MM xxxxxxxxxx
