Paula's Funeral

We have been asked by Paula's family to pass on details of Paula's funeral. It is taking place on Monday 25th June at 11:00 a.m. at St Helens Crematorium, Rainford Road, Windle, St Helens, WA10 6DF. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome.

Paula requested that she have no flowers and we assume donations to Myeloma UK would have been Paula wish.

    Thank you for advising us of this event. I have no way to attend, but please pass on my condolences to Bernard and the rest of their family. He has been in my thoughts a lot knowing that Paula's bright spirit has left a huge gap in his life.

    My thoughts are also with both of you for going through this tough time as I am sure you are missing Paula greatly too. Cyber hugs <<<>>>

    dear lorna,

    i am so grateful to know about paula's funeral; even though i never met paula in person, we did have a lovely connection via her blog and back and forth e-mails, and it's felt so empty and sad not knowing about the arrangements. even though i would never be able to attend as i live in the u.s., it's still a comfort to know that i can think of her and her family on the day, and do my own rememberance of how much she meant to me. please accept my heartfelt sympathy to you and micky, as i know how much you both loved her and how painful your loss must be. love and warm hugs to you both, and to bernard, buddy, gill and all her family, karen sutherland

    Thanks for the information Lorna. I also live abroad so attending would be impossible, but please pass on my sincerest condolences to Bernard and Paula's family. I never met Paula, but we kept in touch via our respective blogs and some emails. She was so very helpful and supportive when a family member was diagnosed with myeloma a couple of years ago.
