Snowy Photo Friday

Like most of Great Britain we have snow today so my photo opportunities have been  limited with my very basic digital camera. The snow is that very fine stuff which always settles. It reminds me of something I heard as a child on a 1970s TV programme called HOW. They explained an old weather saying, "Big snow, little snow. Little snow, big snow." The bigger the flake the smaller the amount of snow on the ground.

Toni loves playing in the snow, but only when it has stopped falling, so for now she is just looking out of the window to check what is happening outside.

  1. dear lorna,

the photo of the snow around your pond must make you long for spring, though the snow is lovely. the photos of toni - adorable! what a special little pooch you have. i think it's so cute that she likes to play in the snow, but not be in it when it is falling. don't you sometimes wonder what's in their doggie heads?
give her a nice pet from me, and sadie sends arfs and tailwags.

    love, XO,

    1. Hi Karen.

Yes I do long for Spring. The snow has become ice and walking on it is too dangerous and so my new healthy lifestyle has taken a nose dive after only a week. Oh well.
